The interior has an airy feeling with earthy tones and natural materials such as wood, rattan and marble combined with an eclectic style of vintage and artistic elements.|From the big windows you can enjoy the view of the Metropolis Cathedral, a partial view of the Acropolis and plenty of natural light.|All the fabrics that we use are greek with our favorite items being the two couch pillows on which you will find original greek embroidery patterns.|All the furniture as well as the light fixtures are either handmade by local woodworkers or authentic vintage items that feature the old athenian style.|The artwork above the sofa is made by a local artist.☼BEDROOM☼You will find a queen size bed with an anatomic mattress with memory foam, memory foam anatomic pillows and high quality linens that will give you a relaxing and high quality sleep.☼LIVING AREA☼Relax at the sofa with a glass of greek wine and a vinyl playing at the record player as you enjoy the sun setting over the metropolitan temple.☼KITCHEN☼Our small kitchen is fully equipped with all the cookware you may need as well as a small oven, an induction cooker and a small refrigerator. You will also find a boiler and a Nespresso coffee machine.(Last but not least, the apartment has a safety door.)Guest accessEveryone is welcome here! :-)The guests have access to the whole apartment.Other things to note☼THE AREA☼You will find the house on the narrow historic Metropoleos Street which leads to Monastiraki Square, one of the most vibrant and gastronomical destinations in the center of Athens! ☼WHAT TO EAT☼Along the side-street in front of the house, you will meet a tasteful array of eateries and bars! A famous wine bar with more than 200 Greek labels to taste, an all-day restaurant with modern greek cuisine, a historical bakery with the most famous bread recipe in Athens, plenty of cafes, gelato and urban, sophisticated bars.☼THE UNIQUE FEELING☼This little pedestrian street, that barely exceeds 200 metres in length, retains the character of an old Athenian side-street. With plenty of cafes and restaurants arranged like beautiful, picturesque miniatures you have the feeling of the good old days.
